At Compass Worship Ministries we believe in spreading hope not only spiritually but also by meeting practical needs in our community. Each year, our signature events create opportunities to connect, serve, and make a lasting impact:

Worship Beyond the Walls

We bring worship into the heart of the community, offering encouragement, prayer, and hope. Alongside powerful praise, we provide free food, free haircuts, free icy’s, a kid’s craft corner with face painting and games, giveaways with household cleaning items, monetary gift certificates, and drawings to pay three resident’s rent—all to meet both spiritual and tangible needs.

Giving Thanks Outreach Dinner

In partnership with local homeless shelters and substance abuse recovery homes, we provide a warm, family-style Thanksgiving meal. Our volunteers sit down with guests, share conversation, and listen to their stories—reminding them that they are seen, heard, and valued.

Spring Craft Fair

Featuring local vendors and artisans, this fun community event raises funds for the Janie Mae Scholarship Fund, which helps students further their education and pursue their dreams.

Blessings in a Backpack

CWM partners with the Wholeness Empowerment Center, CDC to equip students for success by providing backpacks filled with essential school supplies, giving them a strong start to the academic year.

Through these annual events, we help individuals discover their purpose, empower them to pursue it, and equip them to impact the lives of others—inside and outside the church walls.
